The Altitude Eco Outdoor fan is damp rated and has ABS plastic blades which means greater piece of mind that the fan will not be effected by weather. Designed to withstand the overspray or general moisture from weather and/or seaside locations, not direct sprays of water (i.e. water from a hose). These fans can be installed in partially covered areas or covered areas where rain (or water from sprinklers etc.) may waft on the fan. The Altitude Eco outdoor fan comes with an aluminium motor which will not rust and a sealed motor to protect from water penetration. These fans are great to use in tropical environments where you would experience humidity or condensation.
